Hi I have been in remission from non hodgkins lymphoma for over a year and I've found a new lump in my groin. I'm feeling run down so was hoping that it was the flu to begin with, though that hasn't developed. I've got an appointment with my consultant on Friday to check it out. I just don't think I'd be able to cope if it's bad news. I still don't feel as if I have put the bits of me back together from last time. Trying to stay strong, but it's difficult.

I hope your consultant appointment goes well and it proves to be a cyst, or a gland that soon shrinks, rather than anything more sinister. Please let us know how the appointment goes, these scares are always so stressful and horrid. Will be thinking of you xx

It was absolutely fine. It actually had shrunk quite a bit by my appointment and is totally gone now. Think I was just run down so likely just a gland! Consultant wasn't worried at all. Great weight off my mind!
