Exercise

Hi All

I am a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. Odds are not great once the disease comes back, in my case in the liver.

For my own mental and physical health I remained as active as possible. riding my bike to and from work on the off weeks from chemo.

Who knows but i am still alive and cancer free nearly 10 years later. I do believe it helped.

Take care.

That's really inspirational to hear.

If you're willing to write a blog or article about your experiences, I'm sure others would find it helpful too!

Drop me an email - laura@mission-remission.com if so.

Exercise is such a positive motivator on your personal journey through treatment and beyond. It is irrelevant what form it takes.

Do what works for you , gym ,walking , cycling,swimming.. ?

It doesn’t need to even be that formal .. you may feel like doing very little on some days .. In the early days post transplant I could only manage a fifty metre walk before returning to the sofa to recover.

You will improve slowly but at the end of the day time is irrelevant..
