I’ve been looking around this site and I just wanted to write how useful I found it. It’s nice to know that other people are going through the same emotions and it’s made me feel like I’m not alone – which I have been feeling up to now. I finished BC treatment last year and still have regular checkups but everyone else seems to have forgotten about my treatment now and that I should be back to normal. Meanwhile, I’m still feeling pretty rotten and quite low.

Best wishes to you all and thank you for creating this website.

Hi Sarah

It is very tough when treatment stops. I am nearly three years since diagnosis, and actually feel that the first year after treatment ends is worse than chemo and surgery for mental health.

Also people expect you to move on so quickly, but I don't think anyone does. Have you got a close friend who you can chat to about your feelings? We are here to talk too, of course.

Hi Alex

Sorry I missed this message from you. My notification when into my junk box, but thanks for getting back. Yes I do have a close friend though not who lives nearby which can make it difficult.

I think I do feel better since when I wrote this original post, so I guess that's something! Hope all is well with you.
